The Rockaway Hotel New York

I had a fantastic experience at a hotel in Rockaway. The lobby was beautifully decorated with modern art and a cozy fireplace. The check-in process was seamless, and my room with two double beds was perfect. The bathroom was fine, and I enjoyed a amazing view of the ocean. The rooftop bar was an absolute delight, offering great drinks, fine sunsets, and friendly staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

Although the hotel was fully booked and couldn't accommodate my request for a larger room, I still wished I could have stayed longer. Despite these minor drawbacks, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very clean and new hotel, comfortable mattress. Cool hotel shop with a variety of items. Friendly staff made us feel welcome. The Jr Suite with 2 queen beds was spacious and well-appointed. Manager showed interest in our needs.

The spa area was beautifully decorated, creating a comforting and relaxing atmosphere. The king room with a balcony and ocean view was perfect for enjoying the scenery. The hotel staff, from receptionist to bartender, were all friendly and cute. The coffee and drinks served were of excellent quality and enjoyable.

The room itself was not up to par. It was small and lacked proper storage space for clothes, with only a drawer under the bed and a few pegs on the wall.

The room was super clean clean. Nice bathroom. Awesome common spaces, including the pool. Yummy food at the resto. Spacious room with pleasant decor. Clean bed. Kind staff member gave toothbrush. Cool rooftop bar open until 2am. Manager showed interest in our situation.

As soon as we walked down the stairs into the Lobby area, we were immediately struck by the modern decor and beautiful artwork. The large fireplace with cozy couches created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The check-in process was a breeze and our double beds room was perfect. The bathroom was beautifully designed and we were treated to a breathtaking view of the ocean.

The hotel lacked clear instructions for some amenities and it took a while to get assistance for setting up the sauna.

We had a wonderful stay at this venue. The hotel lobby and facilities are so beautiful; they look so clean and new that we were impressed. We also enjoyed the pool area, especially with the poolside service available. We loved the fact that the doors to the pool and restaurant were propped open, which brought fresh air into the lobby, making it even more amazing. The staff was fantastic, they made us feel so welcomed right from the start and their service was exceptional. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was equipped with everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The pool area at The Rockaway Hotel was incredible, with a great atmosphere and live acts to keep us entertained. The rooftop terrace offered a stunning view of the ocean, adding to the modern look and feel of the hotel. We loved the convenient transportation options to Manhattan, including the ferry, car, and train. One highlight was the Moon 'land' piece displayed in the hotel hallway, a unique and well-preserved exhibit. The safety standards were also highly commendable. The pool, eateries, and staff all contributed to a satisfying experience. The hotel even went the extra mile by providing a steamer for my dress and allowing us to store our luggage until our taxi arrived later in the afternoon. The shower facility, poolhouse, and complimentary bike usage were also appreciated. Plus, the massage I received was absolutely top-notch.

Felt like treated like royalty, no complaint.

The hotel was a breath of fresh air with its beautiful interior and great service. The staff was great and were really good too accommodate our needs. The pool area was lovely, with poolside service and a great outdoor restaurant. I appreciated that the hotel had a green approach, with refillable toiletries and a focus on sustainability. The location was perfect, just a block away from the boardwalk and with convenient street parking nearby.
